Terms of Service
Effective September 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of solidly.dev, app.solidly.dev, your Solidly account, and buying Solidly (together, the “Services”), all operated by Adversaria LLC (“Adversaria,” “we,” “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
These Terms do not cover the Solidly application itself. Installing and using Solidly is governed by the End User License Agreement. Where the two overlap, the License Agreement controls for the application and these Terms control for the Services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 to use the Services, and at least 16 in countries where that is the minimum age for consent to data processing. If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
Your account
You need an account to buy Solidly on solidly.dev and to unlock editing with that purchase. A purchase made in the Mac App Store works without one. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your sign-in credentials secure, and to tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Unless your purchase covers more people or Macs, an account is for a single person and may be signed in to Solidly on only one Mac at a time. Sharing an account so that several people can use one purchase is not permitted; each person needs their own. When an account signs in on a Mac, it may be signed out on the Mac where it was previously signed in. Section 1 of the License Agreement sets out these limits.
You can add several sign-in methods to the same account, including a password, Google and Apple. We match them on your email address, so using Apple’s Hide My Email will create a separate account that cannot be merged with one under your real address.
You can delete your account from your account settings. Deletion is staged for seven days, during which you can sign in and cancel it, and is irreversible after that, including the record that you own Solidly. See our Privacy Policy.
Buying Solidly
Solidly is free to view, and a purchase is required to edit. A purchase is perpetual: it does not expire and there is no subscription. It includes every later version of the edition you bought at no additional charge, on the terms in Section 4 of the License Agreement, which also says what counts as an update. There is no license key. A purchase on solidly.dev belongs to your Solidly account, and a purchase in the Mac App Store belongs to your Apple Account; Section 1 of the License Agreement describes how each one unlocks Solidly, and how many people and Macs a purchase covers. A purchase for more than one person or Mac covers the number of people and Macs stated at the time of purchase.
Stripe, not Adversaria, sells Solidly to you when you buy from solidly.dev. Stripe acts as merchant of record: it takes payment, calculates and remits any tax, and issues your receipt. Your card statement will show a line naming Stripe rather than Adversaria. If you bought through the Mac App Store, Apple is the seller and Apple’s terms govern the transaction. In either case we grant the license and provide support for the product itself.
Prices may be shown in your local currency and may change. The price that applies is the one displayed at checkout. A later change to the price does not affect a purchase already made, in either direction: we do not charge you more, and a reduction does not entitle you to a refund of the difference. Refunds are covered by Purchases and Refunds.
Bug reports, suggestions and files you send us
We ask for bug reports and feature suggestions, and a useful bug report often includes the file that caused the problem. The following terms apply to anything you send us.
Send us only files you are free to share, and do not send confidential material. We are not set up to receive material under a duty of confidence, and we cannot accept one. If a file is covered by a client agreement or an NDA, describe the problem instead, or send a file that reproduces it without the confidential content.
What we may do with what you send. You keep ownership of any file or content you send us. You give us permission to store and use it for the purpose you sent it, meaning reproducing and fixing the problem and testing that the fix works. We delete files sent for support when we no longer need them for that purpose, and we do not use them for anything else, including training machine-learning models, without asking you first.
Suggestions. If you suggest a feature or an improvement, we may use it without restriction, obligation or payment. We are not agreeing to keep a suggestion confidential, and we may already be working on the same thing.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, you may not:
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Services;
- probe or test the security of the Services except as invited by a published disclosure process;
- scrape or harvest data from the Services, including email addresses;
- create accounts by automated means, or use the Services to send unsolicited messages;
- misrepresent who you are, use someone else’s account, or share your account with another person;
- circumvent any limit on the number of people or Macs that an account covers; or
- use the Services for anything unlawful.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that materially breaches these Terms or the License Agreement, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account for a reason that is not your breach, we will refund what you paid for a purchase you can no longer use.
You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your account as described above.
Availability
We aim to keep the Services running but do not promise they will be uninterrupted. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of them. Solidly is built so that a service outage does not stop you working: a confirmed purchase keeps editing available offline for a period without needing to reach us.
Intellectual property
The Services and their contents, including text, images, renders, logos, and the Solidly name and mark, are owned by Adversaria or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify or use them except as needed to use the Services, or with our prior written permission. Solidly™ and Adversaria™ are trademarks of Adversaria LLC. Mac, macOS and Apple are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other names are trademarks of their respective owners. Credits for third-party work are on our Attribution and Third-Party Notices pages.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing here excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under the law of your country of residence.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adversaria will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100). These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Adversaria harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or content you send us that you did not have the right to send.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory law, or of the right to bring proceedings, in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Services after changes means you accept them.
