System requirements

macOS

Solidly requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later.

Supported releases are macOS 26 Tahoe and macOS 27 Golden Gate.

macOS 15 Sequoia is no longer supported. A Mac running Sequoia keeps the last version of Solidly that supported it and continues to work; it is simply never offered a newer build.

Hardware

Solidly requires a Mac with Apple silicon. The application is built for arm64 only and does not run on Intel Macs.

Memory

There is no fixed memory requirement. The amount of memory installed determines how large a model Solidly will attempt to load; see Advanced settings.
